baronbvp
Good stuff. I don't see a knife though. Only as good as I make myself be, only as bad as I let myself be.Martial arts are like kinetic chess. Your move.
bushido_man96
I began viewing it, and I like what I see. I don't when I'll be able to watch all of it, but I like the progressions and the training methodologies behind it.I also like the use of kali and the western weapon arts. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
some0ne
Army Combatives sparring is usually just BJJ in your ACUs(uniform)and sneakers. I have won two Army combatives tournaments with the companies I have been in the last year with hardly any army combatives training but with about 8 years of BJJ experience. If you like this sort of thing train in BJJ, Muay Thai, Boxing, Arnis, etc. Karate without bareknuckle kumite(kyokushin/knockdown rules)is dancing. Karate without kata isn't Karate. BTW, I'm a horrible dancer.
ps1
It's certainly better than the old crap they used to teach. It was just enough to get your butt kicked. "It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenius."
bushido_man96
Maybe LEOs should start looking at adopting something like this. The striking wouldn't fly very well, but there is definitely room for improvement. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

I hope it spreads because at the veary least you have to learn to escape and get back up. PhilRyu Kyu Christian Karate Federation"Do not be dependent on others for your improvement. I enjoy the training, as well. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

bushido_man96
I have a friend in the Reserves, and he is considering getting in on this combatives training. A former student of ours has gotten into it as well, and from what I have heard, his training from TKD has helped him out quite a bit. He enjoys it. If my friend gets into it, hopefully we will be able to work on some of the stuff together. My friend was telling me that after completion of the courses, there have been some of the Army guys who have quit the Army afterwards, because they were recruited by low-level MMA groups to compete. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
