December 6, 200619 yr I had heard some talk from an MA buddy of mine who was in the Reserve. He said that the army was beginning to implement a progressive combatives type of course, and he was very interested in it. I haven't heard much more about it, but I think I will talk to him, to see what else he has figured out. Thanks for the link, E&K. https://www.haysgym.com http://www.sunyis.com/ https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
December 6, 200619 yr Thanks for the link, E&K.Ditto, thanks.I've watched the first few minutes, it was pretty interesting. "What we do in life, echoes in eternity.""We must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men."

December 9, 200619 yr I will review it later on - don't have the time just now. As I recall, military combatives are simple because they are easier to remember in the heat of combat so I don't expect these techniques to be challenging to learn. .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu
