After every training session i kick the kicking post in my dojo. but the next day i have lumps just under my skin, they are not visable but feel like bruises. the lumps dissapear in about 3-4 days. Is there any thing wrong with my shins or is this normal?

By the sounds of things you are kicking a hard post. You are damaging the bone, and the lumps are calcification to repair the damage. You are likelu training you shins too fast, and you may encounter some serious problems later on like stress fractures, or worse a broken leg during a fight.

The other aspect if you are not using medicine in conjunction with this training there is also a problem.

by hitting the post, you're making the bone rebuild in that specific spot. the process of loading the bone enough to make it rebuild is part of making the bone stronger. the caution is that because you're only hitting with a very small part of the shin (per hit), you only load a small part of the bone. if you're still growing, or a beginner, this might be dangerous because you'd be straining the remodelling process (if you train too much too quickly, your body doesn't have enough time to heal). also, as you get more precise in your kicks and favor a particular spot on you leg, you don't stimute growth on other sections, and this may lead to microfractures in the less strong spots if say you spar and get kicked else where. be cautious, but the bumps are normal

perhaps you should consider gentler blows to the shins covering a wider area. I knew of someone who used to strike herself with moderate force with a blunt object up and down the shins in order to "train" the bones. Using a wider area she didn't get so many localised lumps and bumps but did increase the bone density (she said).
