My boys gone away for two weeks

Well i got a call last night at 11.30pm, they had arrived in Barbados safely and he was on the ship. One thing bothered me though. His nana called her husband in England from Barbados to tell him they were ok and then he called me at home. Now why couldn't they have called me first? I'm so glad he is safe but i just wanted to hear his voice. I'm being petty now i know, just i haven't spoken to him since monday afternoon, it's now wednesday.

I'm just sat here wondering what he's doing now, i don't even know the time difference. I bet he's have a whale of a time.

I'll bet he is having a blast, Kerry! He will have so much to share with you when he gets back.

I remember when my wife and I came back from Jamaica; we had a bottle of champaigne and 2 bottles of rum in our suit cases! My wife can finally drink now, so maybe we will crack them open on the new year!

I've still not had a phone call or email from him, it's not fair his dad should have allowed him to call me by now, it's been since monday and we are now on thursday. I'd love to know what he's doing right now.

He called me He's having a great time. The call brought a tear to my eye but i'm so pleased he's having such a good time. Can't wait to have my boy back home

Yeah he was in Antigua (oh dear cant spell it) and he said it was very hot, but his dad is putting plenty of cream on him. He said he was a little sick and dizzy when he first went on the boat, the motion of it i guess. He didnt mention my coconut The phone call was short because the signal was dreadful, we were talking over each other because what we said was delayed. Only one more week to go now.

Funny, you know what un-conditional love really means when something like this happens.

I think you hit the nail on the head, there! If you think you miss him now, wait until they get older, and start trying to move out! It will be rough on my wife when our kids do, I know that much. But, such is life, right? Can't hold onto them forever, so you gotta cherish the time you get.

I know it's crazy isn't it Kirsty, Ryan is 10 in may and Ethan 3 in january. It goes so quickly, you have to cheris every moment. What i am dreading is that for some reason one of them might say "i wanna go live with my dad mum".
