Wow that sounds harsh :-? So let me ask you something. What if you had a serious accident, or needed an op, if you don't have health insurance do you not get the treatment?

Ive been a nurse for 10 years and worked in many ER's for 8 of those years. Where I worked (which was in Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisana)...we could not turn ANYONE away for ANY reason...insurance or not WE HAD TO SEE AND TREAT EVERYONE that walked through our doors and wanted to be seen. To refuse to see someone would have shut the hospital down.
