insinuendo
I am doing a free design form in for an upcoming tournament. What kicks/blocks/hand techniques might look good? I realise that this MY design, so am not looking to have it done for me, but a few suggestions for moves that you think look good/might flow well would be much appreciated. They don't necessarily have to be the most difficult, as I think an "easier" technique executed well is much better than a "hard" one done poorly....Any ideas? What type of defense/attack theory do you want to exhibit. If you can do more than link a few "tricks" together, it will flow nicely. Also, you can put one move in that challenges your physical ability.
bushido_man96
A jump spinning hook kick (or heel kick), and then when you land, you keep spinning into a low hooking sweep kick. Then, instead of standing up after the sweep, you do a kip-up.High kick combinations look nice, with some spinning worked in. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

insinuendo
Ah! I always knew that one as a "pop up" ... now I getcha. It would look rather cool - if I was able to pull it off. Cheers!
UrAvgAzn
So are you doing this form to music? Because if you do, just try out some random things, and see what flows with the music. But in my creative forms, I always have a bunch of open hand techniques, backfists, and tiger and back stances. Those always look good if used right. But thats true for everything.
