JackCrevalle
I've been using Yahoo TV listings to search for TV programs featuring karate or any like martial arts but I only find stuff at 1:00 am that turns out to be kick boxing and more like UFC than karate. It even failed to find the world championship in Thailand that I stumbled upon channel surfing.Anyway, does anyone know where to find karate-related TV/cable shows?I know there is stuff on the web, but I'm specifically interested in TV or cable shows. Also our cable company doesn't carry Blackbelt TV so that's not an option.Thanks.
TigerDude
I doubt you will find much. Comcast shows old ISKA bouts now & then. If you think only of hitting, springing, striking or touching the enemy, you will not be able actually to cut him. You must thoroughly research this. - Musashi
bushido_man96
Try FitTV. They have a regular program in which a woman who is a black belt in Goju (I think) travels the world, checking out other styles, and training in them for a short time. Also, ESPN will have ISKA fights from time to time, and I have even seen them show some Judo competition as well. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Shotokan-kez
We never get anything like that here, very rare you see a tv programme with karate, or any other martial arts to be honest. The only one we get to see is martial law. Walk away and your always a winner. https://www.shikata-shotokan.co.uk
Neo Dragon
"Blackbelt TV"? Thats awesome. i didn't know they even had something like that. Martial arts shows outside of entertainment are very hard to find so good luck with that.

bushido_man96
I saw an episode of Martial Law with Billy Blanks in it once. He played a rather arrogant character, and him and Sammo had a little sparring match. A real match would have been interesting to see. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
AT
lol martial law...sammo hung...i haven't seen that show in years. I don't think they show it here anymore. The closest thing to a martial arts tv show that I've seen in the past couple of years is Walker Texas Ranger Stand tall and shake the heavens.
