This is kind of a fun variation on push-ups that I used to do.

Get a partner, and get into push-up position, facing each other. Pick a number, like 5. One person starts by doing one push-up, then the other does one, while the previous person waits in push-up postition. Then the person who started does 2, then waits while the other does 2, and so on up to 5; then, you work you way back down. It is a good drill, and it makes you hang in there and push each other.

Great idea and it also means that you have to do proper push ups and hold yourself up, not doing them at 200 mph.

Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do.

Nice one!

Another variation I used to do with pullups was like this.

1,2,3,4,5 reps

1,2,3,4

1,2,3

1,2

1

This way, you wont reach fatique as fast as with a pyramid like this:

1,2,3,4,5,4,3,2,1

But you do make a lot more repetitions.

Thats ok Bush, i can't do pressups or pull ups. Going to blame it on my height and weight, not the fact that i've got weedy little arms. :)

I could blame it on my weight, but then that is admitting that I am fat!

its good, its great, too bad no-one I know can do even 1 and a half push ups.... (yes I am laughing at them)

A drop of sweat spent in practice is a drop of blood saved in a battle.

A person who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the man doing it.
