bushido_man96
Ok, I went to the grocery store this morning, and after the groceries were all sacked up, the guy asked if he could take them out for me. He was an older gent, and I thought to myself, "Man, I don't want to make this older guy cart my groceries out, I am a young pup." But then, I figure it makes them upset if you don't, because that is what they are there for; they get paid to do it.I guess it comes from when I was growing up, my parents taught us boys to help out the older people by carrying things for them, or helping them in other ways as well. I just felt bad, like I should have been carrying or carting my own stuff, because the young should help out the older, and not vise-versa.Remember when sackers were young kids? It doesn't seem to be that way much anymore. Does anyone else feel this way? https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
KarateK
I do know what you mean - but at the end of the day they are there to do a job. The employer wouldnt employ them if they were not fit and able enough to do the job. They got to make a living like the rest of us? bushido_man96
Yeah, you're right, Kirsty. It just kind of ate at me a little bit, you know? https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Shotokan-kez
I know what you mean hun. When me and the kids are on the bus my lad Ryan always gets up for any elderly person or a lady that's pregnant. Like Kirsty says it's his job, and it probably makes him happy to be able to carry people's shopping out to the car for them. Maybe it makes him feel that he is doing 'good deeds' for people and likes the feeling it gives him. You just never know! Walk away and your always a winner. https://www.shikata-shotokan.co.uk

Jeet Kune Do
I do feel this way, I feel that I should help anyone who is in need, I have been taught by my parents to be a good child (and i am) and I have been influenced by Superman (Dean Cain Superman) to help out whoever is in need, when I help someone out I feel very good about myself, like I was a Clark Kent, a good person...But sometimes people are not good to me and because I am good, I wouldnt do anything bad back and then I feel bad if I have been insulted but I didnt insult the person back.....oh well, thats them A drop of sweat spent in practice is a drop of blood saved in a battle.A person who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the man doing it. bushido_man96
But sometimes people are not good to me and because I am good, I wouldnt do anything bad back and then I feel bad if I have been insulted but I didnt insult the person back.....oh well, thats themI have this same feeling at times as well. Anymore, though, minus the bad feeling. It gets old, after a while, being used up like that. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
