Learning Online

Recommended Posts

You've got a point there. And of course, more against what I've said, is that the padding now is a lot better than before allowing people to "go at it" harder than before they could before.

[edit]Also, thinking about it, if you were going to either do the online classes or the videos, then I'd choose online for $20 a month. Videos can be good but they are expensive and only do certain techniques whereas the online teaching is about the price of one video but will differ all the time, plus I'd assume that you can download the videos on the computer so that you can watch it all the time.[/edit]

Well i do agree with what others have said, i wouldn't do it but on the other hand you dont have an insructor so give it a go and see how it goes. I know how you feel though, if i didnt have an instructor i would probably take the same path as you.

Good luck with it and i hope you find an instructor soon.

Walk away and your always a winner. https://www.shikata-shotokan.co.uk

The important thing to remember here is that there is no right or wrong... only what works and what doesn't. There is nothing wrong with trial and error. If it works, it's right, if it doesn't, it's wrong. The advantage to having an instructor is they will provide you with a more efficient way of finding the answers, but that doesn't mean it's not possible to find them yourself, it will just take longer.

The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open.
