DONO Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 I heard a rumor that Joe Rogan (Host of Fear Factor and color commentator for UFC) challenged Wesley Snipes to a UFC fight. Joe Rogan was a 4 time state champion in TKD and won the American TKD Championship. He also has a Brown belt in BJJ. Snipes has studied Kung Fu, Capoeira, and TKD. Who do you think would win? I vote for Snipes... The only way of reaching the limits of the possible, is by going beyond them into the impossible...Flying is easy, just throw yourself at the ground as hard as you can and miss. ^_^
bushido_man96 Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Although I would probably root for Snipes, judging by Rogan's experience, I would probably expect him to have the edge. Does Snipes have any competition record? How did this challenge come about, anyway? I have heard this before, but only a little in passing. Did someone say something to upset the other, and thus the challenge, or is it just a friendly match? https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
tke010 Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 I would pay for this fight! My vote is Rogan. But, I would probably root for Blade, I mean Snipes Fear does not exist in this Dojo, does it! No Sensai!!!Pain does not exist in this Dojo, does it! No Sensai!!!
Konoko Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 I would definetly go for Rogan, sounds like a good fight
Zapatista Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I would want Rogan to win, basically because I like what Rogan has done more than Snipes. I think Rogan is a very good commentator in the UFC and I think he knows his stuff. Although, I think it would be interesting to see Capoeira used in fight. I also think Rogan has the edge because his job is basically to comment on fights (since Fear Factor is over, and I don't know if he does other things) and so he has a general idea of what may work in a fight and he has seen first hand different strategies in the ring. I would definitly go out of my way to see this and I would most definitly pay for it.
A_Train Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Why has Rogan challenged Snipes? Was there any sort of feud or words exchanged? It just seems weird to through out a challenge to someone like Snipes, who has MA experience, but as far as I know, no real desire to compete. I play a wrestling game online. If you'd like to play follow this linkhttp://www.thewrestlinggame.com/wg.asp?w= 133896
bushido_man96 Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Unfortunately, I don't think that this fight is going to take place, because I saw on the news the other night that Mr. Snipes has not filed a tax return in the last 15 years. Authorities are looking for him, but are unable to locate him. His wife is Korean, so maybe he is there?? https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Zapatista Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Maybe Snipes can move to Japan to hide, and then Rogan and him can go on Pride FC.
bushido_man96 Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 That would be the biggest celebrity match ever!! https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
GMac Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 That would be the biggest celebrity match ever!!Maybe Snipes could use the proceeds of the fight for any back taxes he might be owing?
