savedbygrace
Let's say your driving down the road, and you notice a woman and man standing outside a convience store having a noticable heated argument. No grabbing, hitting, but obviously very verbally heated. Do you go back to make sure things are ok, or do you keep driving? elbows_and_knees
domestic issues are always sticky. you may end up going to jail trying to help the woman, because chances are, she'd press charges on you before she would him. You can go back and check on them, but the safest thing would be to call the cops if the argument continues to intensify.

Shotokan-kez
Hmm yeah i don't think i would directly get involved if they were arguing and no physical contact was being made, but like elbows and knees says, defo call the police if you felt that was needed. Walk away and your always a winner. https://www.shikata-shotokan.co.uk
A_Train
If I were driving by, and it was just a verbal argument, I would probably keep going. Some people get loud and made, this doesnt make them a violent person.Im also a white belt, which would leave me with little to do should things actually trrn violent on my arrival. Heh. kenpo.stylist
back to the original topic...You know, it's almost a scruples kind of thing...you keep driving, but then you can't help but think about it...and what if it gets in the news from going bad...then how would a person feel? Then again, you could stop and say something, but maybe it's a domestic thing and they don't want to be bothered...Again, I guess just stop some distance away, and call the police and let them know what you see...much safer for all concerned that way. Pacificshore
Lil bit off topic, but Domestic Violence situations are the number one killer of Police Officers followed by the Traffic Stop. If those who are involved in a DV situation can turn in a heart beat on a Police Officer sent to help......what more if your a passing civilian stopping to assist. Like others have said...observe and call the Police if you think it is necessary. Di'DaDeeeee!!!Mind of Mencia

RichardHangHong
Use your own judgement. If it looks like just a heated arguement then you should be okay driving on. I see it here in Essex all the time. People are generally more focused on making noise than getting their point across. If it looks like it's going to get physical, call the police and then just sit and observe til they arrive. Only get involved if someone is getting hurt and you know what you're doing Richard Hang HongChief InstructorSeitou Ryu KarateFind me on Facebook!Seitou Ryu Karate
Jeet Kune Do
I keep myself to myself, A drop of sweat spent in practice is a drop of blood saved in a battle.A person who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the man doing it.
