sensei8 Posted December 6 Posted December 6 (edited) Look who STILL wants to coach football?? Bill Belichick!! Belichick speaks with the UNC Tar Heels about the Head Coach position!! Belichick interviewed the other day and Belichick’s interest is “high and genuine”. However, his age and lack of college experience might stand in his way of obtaining the Head Coach of the Tar Heels!! If I’m a team, I’d hire Belichick…period!! So, this is your opportunity Jerry Jones to speak to Belichick and give him whatever he wants so he can coach the Cowboys out of mediocrity and back where they deserve…Super Bowl Champs!! Unless, you enjoy where the Cowboys are at and will more than likely remain there?!? GO COWBOYS!! Edited December 6 by sensei8 **Proof is on the floor!!!

Unless, you enjoy where the Cowboys are at and will more than likely remain there?!? GO COWBOYS!! Bill's dad was a college coach at Navy and Bill was intending to coach college football as a young professional but instead got offered a job with the Baltomore Colts in 1975, took the job, and worked his way up in the NFL coaching circles, getting his first head coaching job with the Cleveland Browns in the early 90s. He was fired after the 1995 season, the Browns last year in Cleveland before moving to Baltimore. Cleveland regained the Browns in 1999. Bill got his second head coaching chance when Parcells retired from the Jets at the end of the 1999 season and Bill, the defensive coordinator, inherited the job. However, Belichick did not want to be the head coach of the Jets and resigned after one day, but because he was under contract he couldn't go out and get another job. The Jets traded him to the Patriots in 2000 where he coached for the next 24 years. Maybe Bill finally becomes a college coach.
bushido_man96 Posted December 8 Author Posted December 8 I'd be curious as to how Bill does at recruiting... https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
KarateKen Posted December 9 Posted December 9 The NY Jets absolutely suck. Another loss for this dumpster fire of a franchise. They are now 3-10 and have lost four in a row. The coaching change has not helped, since Saleh was fired the Jets have gone a pitiful 1-8. No doubt that they have been the biggest underachievers in the league this year.
sensei8 Posted December 11 Posted December 11 Well, my wife’s Raiders are now 2-11, 9 losses in a row. Misery loves company, Ken. My Cowboys suck too, not as bad as your Jets or my wife’s Raiders but they suck enough this year; they’ve lost every home game this year. GO … oh it doesn’t matter!! **Proof is on the floor!!!

Oh, I am not a Jets fan at all, but I did pick them to go to the Super Bowl this year, and a friend of mine bet big money on them to win the division. I am just amazed how bad they are, for having a hall of fame QB, a hall of fame WR, and a top five defense in the league a year ago, with all the money and trades they made for that team to succeed they continue to underperform in spectacular ways. This will be nine years in a row the Jets will finish with a losing record and 14 years in a row they will miss the playoffs. The same could be said about the Cowboys, Jerry Jones has sunk plenty of money into that roster only to have a disaster of a season. If the Jets were not the sinking ship that they are the Cowboys would be the biggest underachievers this season. At least Dallas can point to some injuries such as the QB. While it has been tough for them no question that the Jets have been the biggest disgrace in the NFL all season. The entire franchise is an embarrassment to pro football. The Raiders have had a tough, long season for sure. My guess is they clean house after the season. Right now, they are in position for the #1 draft choice, so maybe better days are ahead. sensei8 Posted December 12 Posted December 12 News on Wednesday, Bill Belichick has been hired as the next Head Coach of the UNC Tar Heels. Belichick agreed to a five-year deal, pending administration approval. Previous coach Mack Brown was paid $5 million per season. Per The Athletic, he’s signed to a $50 million contract. Can Belichick fix UNC tarnished history?? **Proof is on the floor!!!
bushido_man96 Posted December 13 Author Posted December 13 It's going to be interesting to see this project at UNC going forward. Bill presented a plan on how to run the football team like an organization, with the how the NIL stuff affects things now. I think he's basically going to run it like a pro team. If it goes right, this will set the precedent for how college football teams are ran going forward. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
KarateKen Posted December 14 Posted December 14 With the Rams win over the 49ers on Thursday LA improves to 8-6 and they have won three in a row. San Fransico drops to 6-8, now three back of first place Seattle in the loss column, making it long odds that last year's NFC Champion will return to the playoffs this season. Like many teams the 49ers have been hit hard with the injury bug, they are in last place in the division and are now three back in the wild card race. They would need to win out to finish 9-8 and then get a lot of help from other teams.
KarateKen Posted December 15 Posted December 15 Hall of Fame WR Randy Moss announced he has cancer. He had a six-hour surgery to remove the cancer and spent nearly a week in the hospital. He will undergo radiation and chemotherapy. Moss has stepped away from his job at ESPN indefinitely while handling the cancer treatments. 1
