why does your mum think you should stop karate?

"Gently return to the simple physical sensation of the breath. Then do it again, and again, and again. Somewhere in this process, you will come face-to-face with the sudden and shocking realization that you are completely crazy. Your mind is a shrieking, gibbering madhouse on wheels." - ven. henepola gunaratana

do your best to tell her what you think but if your mum's paying for the lessons and taking you to them, then its up to her really. maybe waiting until you have a jujitsu black belt wouldn't be a bad idea; i had a karate black belt before i started jujitsu. it can be good to be properly grounded in one style before getting into another one.

Hi there. Maybe your mum is just looking out for you. She may have a point, and like alsey says if you wait for your black belt in ju-jitsu you will have a good grounding ready to start in karate. Why do you have loads of free lessons?

Walk away and your always a winner. https://www.shikata-shotokan.co.uk
