ff100
I spent 1.5 hours four to five times a week in the dojo plus at least 1 hour per day training at home doing basic conditioning, kata and techniques. I would like to add some roadwork in sometime soon
Shui Tora
For me, it depends on what else I have going on... But I try and get in about 45minutes in the spare room.I do 10 mins with punching and strikes (like empi-uchi etc) and 10 mins with kicks (I mainly concetrate on mae geri, maswashi geri, yoko kikomi/keage and heel kick)The other 25 mins I practice on one kata from; Tekki, Bassai Dai, Kanku Dai, Hangetsu, Jion and Jiin. koryu
As far as karate training goes, I run every kata at full power and speed once a day. Can't go wrong with good kata training, the masters have been doing it for hundreds of years. I also keep up on basic cardio and weight training, "On Ko Chi Shin"

Shotokan-kez
Hmmm well i train three times a week in the dojo, thats an hour each time. I cant train as much as i'd like to at home cos of the kids and lack of room. If i do then i tend to practice kata, i also like to stand in kiba dachi and practice striking. Walk away and your always a winner. https://www.shikata-shotokan.co.uk
parkerlineage
I weight train for an hour and a half or so every other day, go to class for an hour and a half every other day, run sword drills for a half hour or so randomly throughout the week, and teach 20 hours a week. Coco
I havent done karate in a while... but if i remember correctly this was my routine on normal basis (not tournament routine)every day, i used to do all katas, and work on the last 2-3 katas i had learned for 20-30 mins. Then practice kicks, punches, etc. for 30 mins. Afterwards, go run 2 miles and do some pushups/situps/chinups for strength Shito Ryu (3rd kyu) RETIRED - 2002-2003Now studying BJJ(2006)
kivikala
Although at my age I don't train as much as I used to, I just looked at my routine and schedule and realized I spend somewhere between 10-12 hours a week. Some days are more or less than others. When I was in top form I'd be doing 20-24 hours a week but as time creeped on, I've slowed down. Hmm, must be a weak mentality I've allowed myself to slip into.
