It was on PBS and it took a bunch of modern day people and put them through martial training of different time periods? Then they rounded it out by putting them in a battle scenario to see how they would do. They did one on being a gladiator, one on being a roman leigonarre, one on being a viking and a few others. I can't remember the name of the series.

i think i know what you're talking about, but i can't remember the name either. i remember the viking one, and there was one with medieval knights.

I have never heard of that either. Can vikings and medievil knights really have martial arts training, i didnt think in them days it existed??

Oh, yes. Martial arts has existed since the first fight in the first society. They just used weapons, and you would be surprised of what they could do when they got in close and could attempt to disarm or grapple.

yeah, that's the one. it was pretty good for a tv program.
