Sohan
He looked great last week against Karo Parisyan, though I thought the fight was a lot closer than the announcers made it seem. Diego won the fight by dominating the last half of the third, IMO. Karo certainly looked worse for the wear.OK, Diego, I'm definitely a believer now. But let's see you do it against Matt Hughes. alsey
i didn't see his fight with karo, but i voted no. diego is pretty good but not that good. Sohan
I'm inclined to agree, but with the UFC, you never know. I think GSP, Hughes, and BJ Penn would likely beat him, but I wonder how close it would be. Looks he may get his chance after GSP-Hughes is decided. With respect,Sohan "If I cannot become one of extraordinary accomplishment, I will not walk the earth." Konoko
I had my doubts about sanchez but he shut me up with his fight against karo. I wanted Karo to win, too bad he gassed. Should be a good fight between diego and hughes
bushido_man96
I just don't think Diego is at that level yet. Hughes is a manimal. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Anbu Alex
I just don't think Diego is at that level yet. Hughes is a manimal.i agree but i like his detication to training and he just shuts up and puts up and this is from a person who is not a fan of ufc, and i think he's was one of the better fighters in that reality show and in his first fight i was schocked at how good he was but Hughes just seems more experience and that may create a big advantage for him White belt for life"Destroy the enemies power but leave his life"
Sohan
Never assume an outcome in MMA fights. I seem to remember the talk about Arlovsky being unbeatable, and he proved otherwise. I have seen Rich Franklin KO'd, Chuck Liddell beaten several times, and Matt Hughes has had his losses as well.In the UFC, Pride, etc, everyone loses at some point. Diego will have his wins and his losses, and so will Hughes. What the outcome will be between them is intriguing, and this is why we fight the fights. With respect,Sohan "If I cannot become one of extraordinary accomplishment, I will not walk the earth." alsey
that's very true. i guess my answer really is yes he can beat hughes, but i certainly wouldn't bet on it. BLueDevil
I dont think Diego could beat Matt, just like I dont think Babalu can beat Chuck. Matts power is too much for him, plus his experience, Matt has double the fights diego does. The more immediate question is can BJ Penn beat Matt Hughes again? We'll find out in Oct now that St. Pierre is out. There is no teacher but the enemy.
ThePhenom
matt is a lot of a better wrestler so diego can't use his GnP like usual.Matt is also way to strong for him. If matt loses to gsp then maybe he'll diego will ge tto fight himJosh-kos is also up and coming
