danbong
If you have healthy and strong joints, wearing weights should not be a problem while doing "normal" non-workout type activities. ichi-go ichi-e 一期一会one encounter, one chance
Jiffy
Definately not an issue unless there is an injury there. The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open.

Zorbasan
i wouldnt have thought that wearing the weights thru your normal day would do all that much.i guess it depends what you do. if you sit at a desk on the computer then you really arent lifting the weights. i would really only wear them during excersise. Now you use head for something other than target.

Shotokan-kez
So shouldn't you use the ankle/wrist weights for training? I was thinking of getting myself some for when i practise my karate at home for building muscle and strength in my arms and legs. I dont think i even considered wearing them in daily routines, but i guess i can now. Walk away and your always a winner. https://www.shikata-shotokan.co.uk
aefibird
So shouldn't you use the ankle/wrist weights for training? Not for fast punching/ kicking as it can lead to damaged joints. Better to wear them for slow kata practice (instead of lots of kicking reps for example) or wearing whilst skipping or other cardio. "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..."
