Shotokan-kez Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 I normally buy stuff from ebay shops. But the brand is normally Blitz. Walk away and your always a winner. https://www.shikata-shotokan.co.uk
l32 Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 I usually shop at karatediscounts.com or karatedepot.com karatediscounts seem to have better prices, karatedepot better shipping ($2.95 on all orders) so i usually compare karatediscounts price with shipping with karatedepot price with shipping.
aefibird Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 Most of my stuff is a mixture of different companies - Blitz, Century, Macho, Dae Do, Mooto, Top Ten, Meijin, Masuta.I've found Dae Do to be about the best for foam/vinyl gear, but they're all pretty similar. Blitz is good for leather gloves. "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..." The Beautiful South - The Rose of My CologneSheffield Steelers!
unknownstyle Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 i like the turtle masterline gloves there really good for sparring in class and they provide alot of protection to your opponent "Live life easy and peacefully, but when it is time to fight become ferocious."
jaymac Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I think the foam gear from Century does not last long enough. The C-gear from Century is not bad. Last long and really delivers a blow in that it doesnt give like the foam gear. A great martial artist is one who is humble and respectful of others.
