savedbygrace
I have many other hobbies like hunting, fishing, camping..ect.......but I am SO GLAD I decided to get back into MA. I have class tonight and I cant wait. I just wish my flexabilty would hurry up and get better... It hinders me in doing things I'd really like to be able to do, but I know it takes time.......anyway I sure am glad I got back in it........... cathal
I agree! This is one of the best things I've ever been in. I'm healthier, more alert, more focused, more active...it's fantastic. .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu

Mischievousjoe
yeah for hard training! seriously it's addictive once you start to see the benefits i think... I went to my allergist today, and while i used to have decreased lung capacity due to asthma it's now way above average. Just one of many benefits to be had! alsey
yeah, MA are pretty cool "Gently return to the simple physical sensation of the breath. Then do it again, and again, and again. Somewhere in this process, you will come face-to-face with the sudden and shocking realization that you are completely crazy. Your mind is a shrieking, gibbering madhouse on wheels." - ven. henepola gunaratana

I took a year and a half off, my car got hit by a dump truck on the way home from my brown belt test in May of o4, had back surgery, a fractured vertabrae slipped severely, and I have been back for three months now. If you want to increase your flexibility sooner there is a book I love, Ultimate Flexibility by Sang H. Kim very good and the stretches work well.Glad you are back and hope your class went well. They will say you're not good enough, strong enough or talented enough; you're the wrong height or the wrong weight or the wrong type to play this or achieve this. THEY WILL TELL YOU NO, a thousand times no, until all the no's become meaningless. ………..…. “AND YOU WILL TELL THEM YES."Nike Ad.
bushido_man96
Glad you are back into it. I had a layoff once, and have regretted it ever since! It wasn't a year long, but it was too long. It'll come back. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
