I honestly dont look at people that way at the dojo. In the dojo, everyone is uniform and there to train. I think that is what is nice about having a gi, but I do think that a karate gi sits on a woman like a military or officer uniform does. The gi isn't made to fit a woman, so tends to make women look bigger than they actually would be in regular street clothes.

A great martial artist is one who is humble and respectful of others.

There are two females in my class - one is a fourteen year old girl who never talks to me, and the other is my mom.:-?

So, no. Not even in the slightest.

My gi never seems to stay put, as soon as I move it comes untucked, I've never really thought about looking attractive in it, I'm about 5'9 and I think shorter people look better in gis. Probably just my perspective, one of many. I like training in it though, it's a mind set I think.

 Hehe mine does exactly the same, any movement and the gi top is half way up my body all crunched up above my belt. I'm forever pulling it down. I have no idea why it does this, it seems to be a good fit, maybe it's because i'm so skinny round the waist. :D

I have the untucking problem, too...and though I'm a guy, I'm very self conscious about my blindingly white, hairless chest (sorry for the mental picture), so I almost always wear a t-shirt.

I hate a T-Shirt underneath. If find it so uncomfortable. I can understand women wearing one though... the Gi doesn't exactly stay closed too well. (a little on the exposing side)
