gateqway Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 tekken bowl was pretty cool, i remember i always choose yoshi cos for some reason he had this infra-red aiming view, which was pretty cool. Get strikes all the time. Most people’s compassion and kindness are bounded by threats of their interest. People respond to irritancies will dire actions and speech, which is magnified by grudge, competitiveness and fear.
gateqway Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 in tekken 4 I thought Jin's new karate was more like shotokan cos some of his moves have long stances, but I could be wrong. What about kazuya? what styles did his moves look similar to?I like kazuya over jin, he's meaner and tougher But my 2 favs will always be king and armor king!! Couldn't have guessed that, looking at your avatar!! hahaha glad u noticed, I wanted to put on Armor's pic but it didnt look as cool. Hope namco makes a better one soon Most people’s compassion and kindness are bounded by threats of their interest. gateqway Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 King actually resemble the tiger mask, a famous japanese professional wrestler. However, in Tekken 5, he has moves from rock buttom (fromt the rock), Tombstone (from Undertaker) to Kiniku buster (from kiniku man/muscle man animation). Which I think is really cool.Do you have a picture or a link to this jap wrestler? Oh I love those moves, i lost five matches just try to finsh with that move Most people’s compassion and kindness are bounded by threats of their interest. Ace2021 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Just for validification, Jin Kazama's style is in fact, Kyokushin Karate. I know this from a lot of facts..his moves, roll kick, kata, osu. Also it's on wikipedia. A New Age Dawns
bushido_man96 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Just for validification, Jin Kazama's style is in fact, Kyokushin Karate. I know this from a lot of facts..his moves, roll kick, kata, osu. Also it's on wikipedia.Prior to the last few Tekkens, however, his style was claimed Mishima style. Just recently he has claimed Kyokushin. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Ace2021 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Yeah, I think it's better that way because he isn't just another clone character.. A New Age Dawns
Kain Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Other than Jin, is there anyone in other fighting games (from Street Fighter to DOA) that uses any form of actual Karate (Shotokan or anything)?I've seen a lot of Kung Fu's, but why don't they use Karate so much in those games? I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.--Confucius
