Dojo patch, same as my avatar. No flags, banners, stripes, advertisements, polka dots, etc.---though we also have our style's name in kanji on the lapel.

The simpler, the better.

I have the organization patch & an instructor patch (particular to our organization, it denotes rank).

My dress uniform has my name embroidered on it & black braids on the sleeve that denote time in the art. (1 for every 4 years of training. I have 6 braids). There's an organization patch (big) on the back.

My favorite uniform in an Adidas Grandmaster (no stripes) it has no patches at all.

At my school I just have the club badge on the chest. In Iaido I wear the club's badge on my left arm. In another club I go to they have the badge on the chest and school's name on the back.
