parkerlineage
I got to our dojo at 9am today, only to find my Sensei had been there for 6 hours, after a drunk driver blasted through our front wall, which was double paned glass of some sort, at 3am! We spent a good hour picking up shards of glass in our front room. Ugh...don't drink, people, and if you must, don't drive, and if you must, DON'T DRIVE INTO OUR DOJO, PLEASE!! There's a parking lot in back, sheesh... ShotokanKid
Sorry about your dojo, I'm glad you weren't hurt. One time, we had some kids come and set off some kind of firework or paintball bomb on our window. Our windows have been cut with glass cutters. We should make the dojo windows out of barbed wire or something Sorry about the window at your dojo "What we do in life, echoes in eternity.""We must all fear evil men. Pacificshore
Make sure to have the drunk driver come back as part of his/her community service to discuss the ills of drinking and driving, and then to have them clean up the dojo after every business day Di'DaDeeeee!!!Mind of Mencia

Sohan
Unbelieveable. Good thing there wasn't a class at the time. Hope you get things fixed up soon. lordtariel
That's crazy, I had a friend get clipped by a drunk driver. She spun out of control and wound up in somebody's laundry room. Glad nobody was hurt. There's no place like 127.0.0.
cathal
Make sure to have the drunk driver come back as part of his/her community service to discuss the ills of drinking and driving, and then to have them clean up the dojo after every business day Oh wow now that is an excellent idea, especially if there are kids in the dojo. .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu

patusai
It was a bad thing but better early in the morning then during class.
