Whitefeather
Hey everybody,Is anyone here into biking at all? If so, what is/are your discipline(s), what do bike(s) do you ride, and what is your dream bike (if you are a mountain biker and a roadie, pick one for each)? I mountain bike, and occasionally ride around on roads with my mtb, which happens to be a 04 hardrock sport, and I will probably give crit racing a try next summer. My dream mountan setup would be a Transition Preston FR with a light freeriding build, and for the road steed, a Seven Elium race with an expensive campy build, except with down tube shifters. What about y'all?David "Between genius and insanity, there lies a fine line. Sohan
I have one of those Chinese Schwinn mountain bikes that serves me just fine. Had it for a year and it has held up like a champ. Couldn't imagine doing anything competitive with it, but it's really sharp looking--my wife thinks I'm a hotty when I ride it and my son says he's not embarrassed to be seen with me. We try to go to the trails every weekend, and I find it a great way to spend time with my family. lordtariel
I used to be fairly serious about mountain biking. Then I moved to a more urban area where there wasn't many trails to play on. We finally moved this year back to a more rural setting, so I've finally broken out the bike again. I have an older Cannondale M500. aefibird
I have a mountain bike but just use it for a bit of recreational riding, nothing serious. "Was it really worth it? Shotokan-kez
I have a mountain bike and so does Ryan but i don't know the real names for them tho lol. Mine has dual suspension and 21 gears, Ryans also has suspension and fancy frame. We cycle mainly road because we cycle to karate and back. We dont have mountains here but there is a lot of woodland here so it's a nice ride out there.Kez xx Walk away and your always a winner. https://www.shikata-shotokan.co.uk
Orion
I've just started to bike again, nothing serious just if I go to the in-laws. Beats taking the car especially now the weathers nice. I live in the flatest part of the UK, and just have fields around so I mainly cycle on roads. I need a new bike as my suspension has gone and it's looking a little worse for wear. Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do.

patusai
I have a 10 speed C.Itoh bike that was bought in 1971. I think C. Itoh is into computers now but the bike lasted pretty well. I ride but more for fun rather than serious stuff. The only racing that I ever did was around the block (or two) with daughter and/or my wife. The thought if that brought back nice memories As gas prices continue to climb I'm going to start riding to the train station every morning. Save some serious money!
