parkerlineage
I know my karate uniform is called a gi. Is there a specific name for the kung fu uniform (jacket, pants, sash)? pocketcoffee
There is no such thing as a kung fu uniform. The thing you are sometimes asked to wear in a chinese martial arts class is a modern reproduction of old chinese clothing and as such, there is no name for that. It was just normal everyday clothing. what do i know, i'm an idiot.

P.A.L
I also asked my girl friend she said no, they practice with their normal clothesing.
pocketcoffee
Which is exactly why I'm always a little bit suspicious of Kung Fu schools insisting that you buy the baggy black trousers and insisting you wear a white t-shirt. In Hong Kong, I trained in shorts and what-ever t-shirt I was wearing that day. what do i know, i'm an idiot.
