Shotokan-kez, you can find great representation of all shotokan kata on https://www.japanesekarateacademy.com. It is also a great website for their school. Just scroll through it to find the kata section. by the way, use it as a guiding tool only. Do the kata as taught by your instructor.

A great martial artist is one who is humble and respectful of others.

My favorite Shotokan kata videos series are the ones performed by Kanazawa Kancho. All the katas are there, and alhtough I own the VHS, I ahve found all the katas on the web. Last place I saw them was the website of an Australian dojo.

Very dynamic, Kanazawa is a true virtuoso of karate. They give a great example of waht katas should look like. Look for them.

As you are shotokan ,I would highly recommend you getting Sensei Dave Hazard videos ,he has a kata one that has kankudai and Hangetsu which is a master piece ! you will find the applications one for street and one traditional breath taking !

he also has a few extremely good DVDs on Karate ,you can find them in shotokan karate magazine .
