Skipping

I have these, also if I run back and forth in a straight line for around 5 mins would that be a decent enough warm up before skipping?

Do some calf raises, knee wheels, hip circles, ankle rotations, then some light jumping jacks. That should help. I wouldn't run as a warm-up.

When I do skipping I get real bad pains in my lower shins and feet, I can barley go 3 mins. Any way to help this?

sounds like shin splints. Eat some banannas, and get some potassium in you. it should help.

I don't have a clue what any of those are, lol.

Do a Google search. A description of each exercise I mentioned is easily available via Google.
