Menjo Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 In addition to what everyone else said,I'd go with Oatmeal! or porridge. Also rice.So after a strenuous workout or marathon, the warrior in you hankers for a steaming bowl of oatmeal? LOL, yep. With a good hearty drink too. I always thought this was a popular thing "Time is what we want most, but what we use worst"William Penn

Heather Smyth Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 I prefer a bowl of honey bunches of oats after my morning run and a bananna and peanut butter sandwich after my night workout. It is sweet and not that bad for me. Double points!!!Heather You are only as good as you believe you can be!
June1 Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Lately, after class, I've been having these insane cravings for pineapple! So for the past few days, after class, I'll go to the local supermarket where they sell prepackaged fresh fruit salads, and get one of those, which I eat on the bus ride home. It's so refreshing! greenbelt_girl15 Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Moose stew. Dang, that sounds serious.DavidHehehe. Well I live in Bush Alaksa ( that's off the road system) so moose is our main souce of meat, that and salmon. You wouldn't belive the price of beef here.Moose is actually better for you. Completely organic and the meat has only 1% ! God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of love, a spirit of power, and of self-discipline.2 Timothy 1:7
patusai Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Pizza! Ok, so it is not the healthiest but then I'm worth it.Nah, can be quite good. One of my favorites is to take a Boboli or similar crust, add onion, pancetta (italian style bacon), apple, gorgonzola and rosemary.MMmm.....I'm hungry just thinking about it. AodhanSounds excellent! First thing in the morning I'm gonna get some Boboli and try that one! Thanks. "Don't tell me the sky's the limit because I have seen footprints on the moon!" -- Paul Brandt

It is on the map because we are the bigest village on this part of the coast. The town gets way bigger in the summer because of salmon fishing. patusai Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Moose stew? I never knew there was such a thing. Is it good or is it an aquired taste? "Don't tell me the sky's the limit because I have seen footprints on the moon!" -- Paul Brandt
greenbelt_girl15 Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 It's really, rreally good. In general moose meat tastes like beef, maybe just a tiny bit gameyer, but not much at all. It does tend to be a little bit drier than beef because it has so little fat. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of love, a spirit of power, and of self-discipline.2 Timothy 1:7
