gateqway Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 We all train so hard for our martial arts at dojos, gyms and where ever. Everytime after that hard training session, a nice hearty meal would be ease every bit of tension we gathered. What's your favourite meal/ ideal foods after your training session? For me, it would be mum's soy chicken wings with potatos mmm... its a real life saver, i could go for 5 bowls of rice with it Most people’s compassion and kindness are bounded by threats of their interest. People respond to irritancies will dire actions and speech, which is magnified by grudge, competitiveness and fear.
Sohan Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Gatorade, a banana, and some whey protein. But I'd prefer leg of lamb in a rosemary balsamic sauce served with sauteed spinach and potato pancakes finished off with a sampling of creme brulee and tiramisu. Guy's gotta keep his figure, y'know. Aodhan Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Forget the figure.either one of two meals:7 oz. bacon wrapped filet, asparagus in hollandaise sauce, rice pilaf with a lemon sorbet for dessert, or elseSeared ahi tuna steak, either steamed broccoli or steamed spinach, roasted baby potatoes with sea salt and garlic, and chocolate mousse for dessert.Aodhan There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.-Douglas Everett, American hockey player

Whitefeather Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Whatever is left of what everybody else had for dinner, plus whatever fruit and meat I can scavenge from the fridge, capped off by a bowl of ice cream, if there is any around. But, of course, if it were up to me, I would actually go for Claimjumpers' sourdough bowl with chedder-potato soup, followed up by one of their i'claires for dessert (of course, plus a bit of gatorade, just to make it supreme).David "Between genius and insanity, there lies a fine line. lordtariel Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Teryaki chicken, rice, tempura and a california roll... There's no place like 127.0.0.1
isshinryu5toforever Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 If I'm cooking, it's late and I'm not in the mood to make a whole lot, so some chicken post cook marrinated with whatever I have in the kitchen, rice, and kimchi. Or, I make kimchi fried rice (kimchi bokum bap) and maybe some sliced up steak or something. I'm too lazy to make stuff that I'd usually cook. He who knows others is wise. Sohan Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Just had a good workout and finished it off with lowfat homemade vanilla waffles with soy protein, an eggwhite omelet with lowfat cheese, tomatoes, and portabellas, and a tall glass of fresh squeezed tangerine juice. Mmmmm. I could eat this way every morning. With respect,Sohan "If I cannot become one of extraordinary accomplishment, I will not walk the earth." Orion Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 What I would love would be a full fry up, however to keep my figure it normally turns into a banana and a sandwich. Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do.
