i stretch frequently, not really stretches that increase flexibility but something you do before a workout or game. I havent tried the swimming thing yet since there arent many indoor pools that i noe around brooklyn. im gonna try to stretch more and try the exercises thx all the help was great.

Why do you have pain? That would be the first question. Find the cause for the pain and then go from there to find a training mode.

In which case don't too much until you know what the problem is - sounds rather obvious but you seriously don't want to make matters worse - especially long term.
