Scotty Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 lol, your typical granny with a few pilfered bricks hiding at the bottom of a handbag. It's like an impromptu mace! The best armour is to keep out of range.
ff100 Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 How about a chair against a short stick.... after i defeated the opponent (all be it a student one grade lower) he was lying on the floor, i straddled him with the legs at sat on it.
parkerlineage Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 ^That's just wrong. American Kenpo Karate- First Degree Black Belt"He who hesitates, meditates in a horizontal position."Ed Parker
aefibird Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 A full can of coke could make a good weapon. Hit an opponent with it or spray it in their eyes as a diversionary tactic. When we've talked in class about improvised weapons we've covered the usual stuff, keys, bottles, belt, credit card, shoes, bag, walking stick, pen, even watches and jewellery. I musta been off when Sensei talked about defending yourself with a carrot, I don't remember that lesson. "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..." Jiffy Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Basically anything can be used as a weapon, it just depends how creative you are.....Hmmmm, now.... how can I use this feather to defend myself???? The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open.
wolfen Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 ^you could jab it into someone's eyemaybe this isn't too odd but if you snap one of the sides off of a pair of scissors, the remaining side works as decent knife.

Reminds me of that scene it Tango and Cash!"You sat on his chest?""I couldn't find a piano." Classic. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
wolfen Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 i have a friend who can use athletic tape as a viable weapon
Jiffy Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Okay?!? How does that work? The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open.
wolfen Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 he takes about 2-4 feet out and roles it (perpendicular to the rolling in the box) or doesn't if he is rushed (threads cross on their own when nott controlled; get two or three threads crossed and say a fold in the tape and it will take some serious effort to rip). it is like a short rope-type thing; mostly for grappling, joint locks, and binding hands. It wouldn't work so well against someone armed, but for unarmed it is useful.BTW - 1.5 inch Johnson & Johnson brand "Coach" or "zonas" tape are ideal
