lol, your typical granny with a few pilfered bricks hiding at the bottom of a handbag. It's like an impromptu mace!

The best armour is to keep out of range.

A full can of coke could make a good weapon. Hit an opponent with it or spray it in their eyes as a diversionary tactic.

When we've talked in class about improvised weapons we've covered the usual stuff, keys, bottles, belt, credit card, shoes, bag, walking stick, pen, even watches and jewellery.

I musta been off when Sensei talked about defending yourself with a carrot, I don't remember that lesson. :D

Basically anything can be used as a weapon, it just depends how creative you are.....

Hmmmm, now.... how can I use this feather to defend myself????

^you could jab it into someone's eye

maybe this isn't too odd but if you snap one of the sides off of a pair of scissors, the remaining side works as decent knife.

Reminds me of that scene it Tango and Cash!

"You sat on his chest?"

"I couldn't find a piano."

i have a friend who can use athletic tape as a viable weapon :D

Posted

he takes about 2-4 feet out and roles it (perpendicular to the rolling in the box) or doesn't if he is rushed (threads cross on their own when nott controlled; get two or three threads crossed and say a fold in the tape and it will take some serious effort to rip). it is like a short rope-type thing; mostly for grappling, joint locks, and binding hands. It wouldn't work so well against someone armed, but for unarmed it is useful.

BTW - 1.5 inch Johnson & Johnson brand "Coach" or "zonas" tape are ideal
