parkerlineage Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 I bet you could really mess someone up with a pineapple. Ugh... American Kenpo Karate- First Degree Black Belt"He who hesitates, meditates in a horizontal position."Ed Parker
KarateGirl1387 Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 Ahahaha! Wow, who would've thought a carrot could be considered as a weapon?? I agree that does sound like something out of Monty Python, lol. "It's not just Karate, it's a way of life."
lordtariel Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 When I was in high school we did a skit in a world history class that involved a duel. We couldn't bring even wodden swords into class so we got a couple of baguettes and fenced with those. There's no place like 127.0.0.1
cathal Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 A hat. I have actually seen a baseball cap used in a fight as a weapon. .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu
Jiffy Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Moose-Fu.... MWAHAHAHAHA Hillarious! The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open.
Jiffy Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 The only weapons we have really improvised are those we thought people might actually have on them at any particular time and find it easy to use as a defence.HandbagTorchBeltRolled up newspaperKeysetc The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open.

Scotty Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 My teacher showed me how to use my karate belt as a weapon once. Well, not so much as a weapon, he just looped my hands as I tried to hit him. It ended up like some worrying bondage scenario, i was all looped up in his belt!just to clarify... he wasn't wearing the belt at the time! The best armour is to keep out of range.
gheinisch Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 We have discussed improvised weapons in class. Some of those discussed: Keys, Womens rings, Rolled up paper or magazine, Hair Brush, High Heels etc. "If your hand goes forth withhold your temper""If your temper goes forth withold your hand"-Gichin Funakoshi
Jiffy Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 One I really love is a Torch used as a Kubotan or keys used as knuckle dusters.A heavy handbag can also act as a great weapon when swung hard enough too! The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open.
