When I was in high school we did a skit in a world history class that involved a duel. We couldn't bring even wodden swords into class so we got a couple of baguettes and fenced with those.

A hat. I have actually seen a baseball cap used in a fight as a weapon.

The only weapons we have really improvised are those we thought people might actually have on them at any particular time and find it easy to use as a defence.

Handbag

Torch

Belt

Rolled up newspaper

Keys

etc

My teacher showed me how to use my karate belt as a weapon once. Well, not so much as a weapon, he just looped my hands as I tried to hit him. It ended up like some worrying bondage scenario, i was all looped up in his belt!

just to clarify... he wasn't wearing the belt at the time!

We have discussed improvised weapons in class. Some of those discussed: Keys, Womens rings, Rolled up paper or magazine, Hair Brush, High Heels etc.

One I really love is a Torch used as a Kubotan or keys used as knuckle dusters.

A heavy handbag can also act as a great weapon when swung hard enough too!
