Not at all, since weight has nothing to do with it really.

 

The difficulty is proportional to the strength of the individual and the amount of weight used. You could both have a 200 pound man, and a 300 pound man, both benching 200 pounds - it is equally difficult for the both of them if they are the same strength.

 

On average though, a smaller person would probably have to start at a lighter weight than the larger person - only due to muscle strength however, not weight.

Ah sorry yes, I completely misunderstood.

 

Body-weight exercises, like pullups. Hmm I'm not sure on this, it depends entirely upon the strength of the individual.

 

If you have again, the 300 pound guy and the 200 pound guy of same strength, the 200 pound guy would do these exercises more easily, since he has less weight to push or pull against yes.

Well speaking for us large guys.

 

Im 315 and can't come close to doing a pull up. However I can bench 330. Anything you do has a lot to do with techinque and practice. However its harder for a 300lb guy to do a pull up than a 150lb guy. Its simple math.

Yeah I'm not nearly that big but I know what you mean. I'm 205 and bench about 240.

 

I can do alot more on lat pull downs then alot people even though others may have an easier time doing pull-ups. However I usually do chin-ups of which I can usually do between 8 and 10.
