bruceflea
Just completed a marathon 24 hour workout for children with cancer.Thought id share it with you all. I study JKD but the day comprised of many arts...silat, muay thai, karatre, escrima, savate, police tatics, weapons, etc...The day was hard but fantastic and our instuctors, here in nottingham, were brillant and set by great example. We also had some great guests come in to teach.A worthy, character building experience.Andy. Be like water my friend!!
italian_guy
Wow it should have been tough! How much was the donation?
bruceflea
Wow it should have been tough! How much was the donation?11 hours in, i was clock watching, it was painful but you go through phases of being tired and having a second energy! Theres something surreal in weilding an antique sword at 3 oclock in the morning!!!!I raised about 120 pounds myself. The class raised a couple of thousand, which is pretty cool. Think the amount will eventually raise, not everything has been added up yet! Be like water my friend!!
jaymac
What a great idea for fundraising. You must of had an awesome time. How long did you sleep after it was all over? A great martial artist is one who is humble and respectful of others.
