recently i was sparring of the students I help teach. He is pretty big and while sparring him i noticed that i had lost alot of the power in my legs :o . I have been so busy with school and so many other things that I have been neglecting alot in my workout :cry:. What excercise does any know that can really do alot to my legs. I know that after some real excercise I'll be back in no time. thanks alot in advance

btw: does anybody else feel that there life interrupts with their MA life?

do a exrercise on a bike or a bike machine, and go running.

yeah some does interupt my MA life

A drop of sweat spent in practice is a drop of blood saved in a battle.

A person who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the man doing it.

you can do weights with your legs. i recently started this. like squats and leg presses.

Im brasilian, but live in the united states. Really enjoying martial arts.

Leg extensions and Leg Curls are great if you have a machine.

Squats are good as are calf raises.

Yes, my life interupts my MA every day!

One thing I always recommend is too hold your stances low and practice that alot, I'm not sure about the others, however Shotokan(if practiced properly) will give you very powerful legs.
