Goju_boi Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 plyometrics are greati second that.... just jump around alot!lol, it's like a rock concert now! https://www.samuraimartialsports.com for your source of Karate,Kobudo,Aikido,And Kung-Fu
elbows_and_knees Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 don't jump around too much - you can overdo plyos and injure yourself. plyos are great though, as is sprinting and also heavy squats. however, the best way to put it into your kick, is to kick. throw kicks at the heavybag.
Goju_boi Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 wouldn't throwing kicks at the heavybag be just for conditioning your legs and the whole body? https://www.samuraimartialsports.com for your source of Karate,Kobudo,Aikido,And Kung-Fu
elbows_and_knees Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 no. kicking the bag builds explosiveness in the legs, just as punching it builds punching power.
