I echo that.

If you have cracked ribs and keep cracking them, then you are either not taking enough time to let them heal, or there is a bigger problem underneath.

Either way, go to a doctor and get it checked out.

cheers guys,

I think i will go to a specialist in sporting injuries, i've been to my doctor loads of times, he gives me strong pain killers and i go back to karate and the cycle continues..

Start drinking some milk after your ribs heal, get some calcuim in those bones  Seriously if your ribs keep on cracking or breaking then you defenitly need some calcium to strengthen those bones

I think the biggest problem with many MA related injuries is that we tend to get back into the dojo before we are fully healed and end up aggraviting the injury and often times end up making it worse.

Usually when your doctor tells you you'll be feeling better in a couple of weeks they mean for regular day to day activities, not for high intensity training.

Talk to your doctor about your training and you'll probably get a different answer about how long it will take before you're ready to be back at 100%.
