Here is mine:

I was 13 when I tested for the first time in TSD. During my Taegot 1 (Taikyoku 1) puberty decided to raise the octave of my kiai to the point of a five year old girl. Being a scrawny 13 yo boy I was so upset! Somehow I managed to skip 8th kyu and went right to 7th kyu (Red).

Thanks to Laurie for the idea since she was talking about farting in another thread...

I'll save more stories for later (like how I got hazed once I got my black belt because I cried like a baby when I passed!)

LOL John. Yea, it happens hehehehehe. My most embarrasing thing that happened was during sparring. I think I posted this somewhere on here. But here goes. Almost lost my pants and my butt decided to make an appearance. I just yanked my pants up and kept going, hoping no one noticed. But my instructor noticed and said, "You CAN stop to fix your "equipment," ya know." :o

At my school's karate camp, we do a countdown before every class for attendance. You basically count off down the lines. Well, it was the first night of camp, and I was excited. So the kid next to me said 69, and I blurted out "80!!!!"

For the whole rest of camp, no one let me forget it. Whenever we did something that involved counting, they would ask me if I needed any help. I felt like such an idiot!

one time I was showing my brother some of my JKD and I was doing all these moves and when I turned around he kicked me in the joint on the back of my leg and I fell and landed on a metal stool and he just carried on looking and then it made me feel like he was more experienced. but he isnt

One time we were doing progressive stretching and I ripped the butt out of my gi. Granted it was like 5 yrs old and was ready to go at any time...

We've also had the classic fart slips in class a few times as well but everyone just pretends it didn't happen and moves on...

There were newcomers to the gym and I was practicing my roundhouse kick on the heavy bag before class started so they were watching me. On one of my kicks my supporting leg slipped as I pivoted on it and fell flat on my back.

Once we were doing stances and the sensei was checking how firm they were. Unfortunately my legs seized up and when my sensei pushed me to check my footing I just fell straight backwards onto my back :)
