GOing nuts...3 weeks away!!!!!- know everything...just the boardbreaking part gets me. Can't do the same moves, different techinques to choose from...so many...I'm so little to do some of them...GOing Nuts...Help me.... If they are concerned about your technical ability/knowledge, they should have paid more attention the first time. If they are concerned about your personality, they should have paid more attention during your years of training.Is there a valid reason for this that I seem to be missing? Any restrictions i.e. minimum number with foot techiques and a minimum number with hand techniques and the remainder using either? I have heard of retesting in such a manner. I believe the rank translates to black belt in holding or something like that. My first instructor went through something like this in Japan. However, there was no charges for the next test. They should know your capabilities by now.In many styles of Karate you have shodan-ho which is basically to make sure that you don't quit right after you get your shodan. I can see how some would see this to make more $ but in the dojo I was at that did this you didn't pay anything more to get your shodan. What was funny to me was how one individual that I went to HS with quit right after getting his shodan-ho and told everyone at school that he was a shodan...I would go around and call him a shodan-HO! while emphasizing the HO because he quit Awww...fast times at ridgemont high..heh flowing like the chi energy inside your body b =rZa= Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
