Leopard claw Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 For me, it's suisho, tozan no kama and shiro taro no kon. How many nuns could a nunchuk chuck if a nunchuk could chuck nuns?
jaymac Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 I love to practice Kata. My favorite is always the one that I have most recently learned. Right now I am working on Jion. It is awesome. A great martial artist is one who is humble and respectful of others.
JWLuiza Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Right now I only know Shu Shi No Kon Sho. I used to know a Bando Bo kata called Four Winds, but I didn't drill it enough to remember.
AirBorne-karateka Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 I would have to say my favorite would be a toss up between sakagawa no kun and yamashita no kun.The aplication of the bo tecniques in these two kata are absolutly devistating, espeacialy if used with a nunti bo It is necessary to drink alcohol and pursue other fun human activities. The art (i.e. karate) of someone who is too serious has no "flavor." -motobu

Isshinryu_heart Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Chatan Yara no Saichatanyara is awesomemy favorite hand kata is definitely chinto
Fairfax_Uechi Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 As I've said before. Sanchin is my favorite. Technically it's not a very difficult kata but SO HARD to master.
johnnymac Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 my all time favorite kata has to be a toss up between Paiku and Useishi.Right now I am working on Tachihouou, this kata rocks, and might be my favorite once I get it down.John John McNichols-----------------https://www.katamasters.comhttps://www.saishuryu.com
