Many conflicts and many more gallons of blood have been shed in the past which make what is currently happening look like a Sesame Street tea party. I am not downplaying the recent concern over terrorist activity or war, but I would just like to remind everyone of the world's history which contains examples of genocide, slavery, and brutal unrecorded killings (in which only now are some coming back into the interest or scope of many historians i.e. Nanking massacre, etc.). Whether or not the world is going crazy is up to debate, but, if we are indeed screwing things up, it would seem as if we started screwing things over a long time ago.

SG, sadly you are right human beings have forgotten what humanity is. Unless the world puts aside its differences it will not be here much longer. With all of our knowledge and power we have yet to really become civilized. Think of all we could accomplish if we could work together towards a common goal for ALL mankind.

People have been fighting and killing in the Mid East for hundreds of years nothing has really changed.

(General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."
