It's easy to overdo. You can also get into that position, and start doing crunches towards the wall. Very intense!Aodhan There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.-Douglas Everett, American hockey player

Meguro Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 You can do this stretch any day, any time. It's recommended to stretch after exercise and a warm-up. You can do this stretch while reading a book, listening to music, reading the paper. I'm sure you can fit it into your schedule more times than you originally thought.
matbla Posted December 18, 2005 Author Posted December 18, 2005 i will take care in doing it i like it too from matt blake

AikiGuy Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 I assume you mean with your legs up in a V and stretching via gravity. This is just like being in a seated leg stretcher so is sounds like a great stretch. After you become more flexible, it may lose its effectiveness. For a little added stretch (only after you have become pretty limber), you may try ankle weights or heavy boots. Of course if you do this too soon, you may pull/tear something so be careful. If you do add some weight, maybe put a towel over each foot to hang down against the wall to avoid scratching the wall. Good luck. Paranoia is not a fault. It is clarity of the world around us.
