rabid hamster Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 Hiya! Eating 5-6 really small meals a day actually helps lose weight really quick because this keeps your metabolism up. But if you're like me and you go to school and come back home at 4, then you can only have three meals. Try not to eat or drink after 6. During the later hours of the night your metabolism goes down so eating late is a bad idea. I think You should eat more variety of foods. Hehe I doubt you can eat the same things for a long time, I'd get tired of it. Also for breakfast you should eat some carbohydrate. Um well that's all I can think of right now. I hope this helps. I'm try to lose at least 10 pounds because then I wouldn't be too fat. But if I had my way I'd wanna lose around30 to 40 pounds. Cya Hiya It is only with the heart that one can see clearly, for the most essential things are invisible to the eye.
Jack Posted April 4, 2002 Posted April 4, 2002 Hmm, I'm not going to set you out a routine but here are some good ideas to help with best fat loss, trying to retain muscle at the same time: Lower Caloric Intake - Obvious. Frequent snacks - Metabolism boost Coffee/Coke - Metabolism boost again! Plenty of Water - Counters the dehydrating effects of Coffee Plenty of Cardio - Try before breakfast and before you go to bed. Do more if you want. Plenty of Protein - Got to keep muscle! No eating after 6pm, unless perhaps a protein shake. If you want to lose weight, you will lose muscle, but by following these guidelines you will help to minimize muscle lost while still losing plenty of weight. There are other ways involving an E/C/A stack, but its rather expensive and can have some side affects (the shakes etc.) Good luck, and feel free to make your future posts concerning this in the "Weight loss club" thread of this section JackCurrently 'off' from formal MA trainingKarateForums.com
