scottsplain Posted November 16, 2005 Share Posted November 16, 2005 Im currently involved in highschool wrestling and i was woundering what kind of training/diets,ect other wreslers excerise off the mat to become better. I am fairly new to wrestling so im just looking for techniqes and drill to practice off the mat. McNerny Posted November 17, 2005 Share Posted November 17, 2005 Hey, Some things you can practice at home: your stance, shooting in on an imaginary opponent, level changing, rolls, for your sprawls you could use up-downs to practice getting your legs back and hips down (these will also help with conditioning) If you are already not too sore from practice do push-ups, sit-ups, leg lifts, bridges, squats etc. any body weight exercises are goodThat is all I can think of right now.
