Dokken, AC/DC, Pantera, Rage Against the Machine, RacerX, Fastway, Motorhead, Megadeth, Metallica, etc.

Then Liebert on flamenco guitar while enjoying some tea afterward. :)

I don't really listen to music while I'm training in MA... throws off my concentration.. unless i"m shadowboxing. When I lift or shadow box.. or do bagwork, I've usually got Necrophagist, Korn, Devildriver, Sikth, Mudvayne, Still Remains, Nightrage, etc cranked LOUD. Helps get me worked up

Oops, forgot to add:

I listen to music to pump me up for lifting or high intensity cardio. For martial arts, nothing. I embrace the silence.

I was thinking that "Sleep Now in the Fire," by Rage Against the Machine would be a pretty good song to kickbox or box to. Must do that this summer. For katas, I don't know if there really is a good song to do them to. I think I have to agree with Sohan that silence is best in this case.

I listen to anything from techno/rave to heavy metal. Anything with a heavy beat, especially when I'm teaching XMA.
