Try warming up beforehand with either some form of cardio activit such as running or biking, or have a shower, then try stretching very lightly, breathing slowly and deeply. Stretch lightly so you can keep your muscles relaxed, and increase the stretch slowly. I'm no expert on this, perhaps someone else may be able to help more.
