push ups?

Really? I haven't gotten any pain form doing them, or bench pressing. Perhaps you should see your doctor about them. I get a popping noise every once in a while, but no pain.

Two fingers you say? That might take me a while ;)

If you want an amazing difference, try putting a 15 lb weight on your back. I was to the point where I was doing 210 pushups in 3 sets of 70. I added a 15 lb dumbell, and immediately couldn't do more than 35-40ish.

I just put on a back pack with a lot of magazines in it.

A buddy of mine had me place a 45lbs plate on his back, then proceded to 53 pushups. A killer tricep workout too! Remember, Biceps are only as good as your triceps!

I do the same thing except with water bottles instead of magazine. I can fit about 8 liters of water in the back pack and am good for 4 sets of 20 reps of dips. Haven't tried the backpack with push-ups since doing them with feet on a chair is hard enough.

The ability to do things, even push ups, takes time, and starts out small. Of course the meaning of small varies from person to person, but still implies it takes time, and continuous effort, input, and nurturing in which to make something grow.

Don't give up.

Agreed!

I couldnt do them but as said, overtime, i can now do hundreds in a day.

Also adding a weighted backpack...just be patient and keep pushing your own barriers. Dont worry about competing with others for now.

Be like water my friend!!
