My opinion, consult your physician. Ask his advice. It doesn't mean you have to take it, but atleast listen. Some say this is a myth, others say it's true. I personally didn't start lifting heavy until I was 18. I didn't touch any protein shakes, Creatine... none of that stuff until I had started to lift heavy. If you have a clean diet, lifting intensely, you'll grow.

I don't have to be the best, just better than you!

your muscle doesn't get tighter. I haven't lost any flexibility, and it does not effect bone growth, other than making the bone density/strength go up. It is a myth with no scientific evidence to back it up.

If you can't laugh at yourself, there's no point. No point in what, you might ask? there's just no point.


Many people seem to take Karate to get a Black Belt, rather than getting a Black Belt to learn Karate.
