haha. the very club i need.

before i trained MA seriously (about 3-4 months ago), my height is 179cm, and 56kg of weight. now, i'm around 58kg. not so bad for someone who does not work on body building and has only junk for food, imo

but for some reason, some people said i look thinner. i was like, "what!?" hehe. the only way i could lose weight right now is probably cutting an arm or 2

My weight is the same. I think Ive been not eating enough and doing too much cardio.

Time to set that right!

hehe! my eating habits is really really getting annoying these days. i usualyl don't have breakfast (since i always wake up late for class). but if i do, i'll have it around 10.30, after class.

if i didn't have breakfast, i'd usually have lunch at 1pm, dinner at 6.30 (that's when the university cafeteria is closing), then midnight junkfood (from 7-11) at 11.30pm and such.

but if i do have breakfast at 10.30, i won't have lunch! hahaha!

anyway, that's my life in weekdays, when i go to college. but on weekends, and i'm at my apartment, i hardly eat anything! i wake up at 11, and do some stuff blah blah blah till 3pm, then i find some snack around the room. then i wait till in the evening (so it's not too hot to go outside), then i go have dinner. but if i come out too late and the cafeteria is already closed, then i have to rely on 7-11 food again!

such is life..

I'm sure with some organization and more sleep in the evening you can reform your eating habits, Ai.

How 'do-able' does gaining one KG every month sound? A reasonably realistic target?

Yeah, one kilo a month would be good. You'd have to cut down on cardio and eat up on carbs and protein to fuel your weight training which would have to be heavy. Also, you need at least 8 hours sleep a night.

Ai Wake up earlier

that, my friend, is the hardest part

but anyway, i am trying to rebuild my schedule by constantly exhausting myself before going to bed (no, not that  ). you see, one problem i had was that i can't sleep. now that i start to exercise a bit (mainly sit-ups and pushups) at night helps me a lot with sleeping (therefore i have more time sleeping and i could get up earlier without falling asleep in class)

jack, yes, 1kg/month is possible. especially for guys who're very underweight like us. i could swear i witnessed seeing my weight jump over 2 kgs (about 2.3kgs) in just 1 month of constant training.. :karate:

Hey guys, i weight 65-67kgs for 1.80m.

I've gained about 2kg in 2 months when i began going to the gym about twice a week (and training in kickboxing 2 to 4 times).

I see you guys are quite like me, i can't seem to eat properly either, although i try to refrain on junk food now... Still can't resist a big fat burger or pizza from time to time (quite often unfortunately).

Anyway, being at university like you Ai Hate, i often have to skip breakfast too and by 11 i'm starving so much i have to get myself a sandwitch. From there, everything gets messed up cos i'm not hungry anymore for lunch but couple of hours later, in the middle of the afternoon i have to get some food again, etc...

I've read Body for Life too Zulu. According to Phillips, we shouldn't have 3 big meals in a day but preferably 6 little ones so maybe i'm not doing too bad...

The thing is, no matter what i eat, i can't seem to gain much weight...

Yeah, 6 meals a day is right. You should eat a meal every 3 hours, especially lots of protein which is what helps rebuild muscles. I put on muscle fairly easy, but have trouble losing weight.

What sort of food are you all eating, can anyone give me some good meals? I must be eating wrong or something I dunno...but I weigh about 62 now, gain about 4 or 5 kg's in a day, but when I wake the next day I am back to where I started!
